Every year on my brother Fabio’s birthday, I sit with the cards and listen.
 
This year, Fabio would have been 56.
 
He and I were Irish twins — ten months apart — and for eight years I have honored his birthday with an annual tarot reading. This year, for the first time, I turned that reading into a book.
 
920 — The Industrial Witch is a 56-card year-long tarot reading and working guide built from the actual cards pulled for Fabio’s 56th birthday.
 
This is not a generic tarot book.
 
The first section preserves the 56-card birthday reading in the order it was pulled. From there, the book opens into a complete 78-card field guide and a 12-month workbook designed to help you work with the cards throughout the year.
 
This is a book about cards, but it is also about work, grief, transformation, choice, discipline, destruction, rebuilding, and what we decide to do with the life that remains.
