SAN MIGUEL, Defend Me! Candle Ceremony

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!

On this festive day of Saint Michael, I am holding a candle ceremony at the Iglesia San Miguel in Santo Domingo with the intention of calling forth protection. San Miguel is a great defender, syncretized with my father OGGUN in the Lucumi tradition. Today we pray to San Miguel (OGGUN) asking him to break the chains that have a hold on us.

PETITION: San Miguel, defend me in battle. Right now, I am calling on your assistance with (state, name the battle you are currently experiencing—think about the areas of your life where you are feeling trapped and could use a release and protection from harm. Be very clear about what you are in need of.)

SAMPLE PETITION: San Miguel, defend me… San Miguel hear my prayer… San Miguel assist me with this job search.  I can no longer walk alone and require your assistance. Intercede on my behalf, with your shield and sword remove anything or anyone that is blocking me from having the job of my dreams. Bring forth the perfect opportunity for me one that values me and that allows for me to have the lifestyle I deserve. Please protect: my daughters, my parents, my siblings, all those I know and love. (Feel free to use any of the text above in your petition)

Really be honest fam! Name the battle you intend to win! Battles can look like and be related to: legal issues, custody battles, divorces, health, finding love, a fresh start, a move, a new home, contracts… etc. Also, if there are family members you would like protected under this candle name them in a list underneath)
