About the Event
Odùduwà: The First King
Before Odùduwà became an orisha he was known as the first king, the founder of the Yoruba community, he represents the earth on which his people resided. This entire year Obatala & Oshanla have governed. Obatala who is owner of our crowns has recommended that for 2022 we focus on rest, tranquillity, humility, peace and calm – pillars of our tradition. In speaking of and honoring Obatala we must remember this grand orisha and they ways he is connected to Obatala.
As we close out this year our last two classes will be held:
-1- Wednesday, November 30th
-2- Last class: December 21st or 22nd
We look forward to seeing you.
Love,
Leo & Alicia
