During our next class we conclude part two of the eleke ceremony. Also, after class we are having a Q&A for those joining us in DR.
TITLE: Rituals and Sacred Consecrations:
History of the Beaded Necklace.
Our next class is devoted to sacred ceremony. The passing down of secrets. We will discuss the orisha beaded necklace—elekes. These beads represent the protection of the Orishas which are meant to be kept close to the initiate and are placed during a special ceremony.
