The Peonia Bracelet is a sort of azabache similar to the amulets of protection given to children (those of us from the Caribbean) for protection against the evil eye—el mal de ojo. In the Santeria tradition it is also used as protection against negative energy and to fight all forms of darkness. The Peonia is a powerful seed that attracts prosperity and abundance.
